Firstly, we would depart for Cu Chi Tunnels in the early morning. Our English-speaking guide will pick you up at your hotel at 7:00 AM. The journey to this amazing tunnels is approximately 70 km (1,5 hours).
When you reach here, you will be shown a documentary film about the structure of tunnels and observe how the locals made bamboo traps, rice papers, rice wines and so on... If you do not have any problems with claustrophobia, then the feeling of crawling and exploring dark and narrow underground tunnels would be definitely a profound memory. You also have a chance to try the most popular vegetable which was used by Vietcong during the war. A lot of travelers did not overcome their fears and declined that great opportunity. The next destination after Cu Chi will be My Tho City. This is one of 13 provinces that comprises Mekong Delta Area. We would spend several hours cruising the upper Mekong and some islands were named of four holy animals consist of: Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Turtle. Moreover, you could see some daily activities and lives of the locals on the riverside path.
Afterwards, we would have a trip on rowing-boats along the navigable waterways. You would come across numerous fruit orchards, coconut groves, beekeeping farms and so on…Throughout the trip, we would have some rest areas and you could take a break over there. You could take a sip of pure honey tea, enjoying local specialties, immersing yourself in Vietnamese folk music, etc…
Eventually, we would return back to Ho Chi Minh City and drop you off at your hotel around 17:00 PM
